Description
During the event, Tiernan Brady, Global Director of Inclusion at Clifford Chance, will share his experience with marriage equality campaigns in Ireland and Australia, showing the role of businesses.
We’ll also talk about how businesses in the Czech Republic have supported marriage equality, including Vodafone’s open letter and other actions. Plus, we’ll discuss how companies can continue to support their LGBTQ+ employees.
The event is co-organized with CITI and Clifford Chance and will be moderated by Adéla Horáková from Jsme fér.

Tiernan is an equality campaigner. Before taking up the role in Clifford Chance he was the director of the Equality Campaign, the successful Australian marriage equality campaign and political director of Yes Equality, the successful Irish campaign for marriage equality – the only two countries in the world to enact marriage equality by public vote.
Adéla Horáková
Legal Counsel, Jsme fér
Adéla enjoys connecting different worlds—business, non-profits, and politics. She is a lawyer who, after 12 years in commercial law (Clifford Chance, Dentons), became the manager responsible for pro bono advocacy and diversity across all 20 European offices of Dentons. Currently, she works as a lawyer for the initiative Jsme fér, which advocates for opening marriage to same-sex couples. Adéla also collaborates with the Pride Business Forum platform to raise awareness about the importance of equal workplace conditions for LGBTQ+ employees.
