Microaggressions may seem small, but they still hurt. This workshop shows how certain words and actions can be unfair, especially to LGBTQ+ colleagues.

Microaggressions are subtle comments or actions — often unintentional — that can feel dismissive or discriminatory, like saying, “You don’t look gay” to an LGBTQ+ colleague.
This workshop explores what microaggressions are, how they affect people, and how to recognize them in daily interactions. Using real-life examples, we’ll unpack these biases and their impact, especially in the workplace.
You’ll also gain practical strategies for inclusive and respectful communication. By the end, you’ll have tools to address microaggressions and foster a workplace where diversity is valued — benefiting both people and business success.

Learning Specialist, Pride Business Forum
Tereza is the Executive Director of Pride Business Forum and plays a key role in leading educational projects for Prague Pride. She also leads Parent Prep courses, and her experience includes working with the organization People in Need, where she contributed to the renowned educational program One World in Schools.
Aleš Rumpel
Training Manager, Pride Business Forum
Aleš focuses on promoting LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion in the corporate sector. He trains and leads programs aimed at empowering young LGBTQ+ individuals. With a background in facilitation, he draws on years of experience in the Czech queer activist scene, including leading the Mezipatra Queer Film Festival and co-founding the PROUD platform.
